Symbolism



This week, we have been looking at symbols in The Alchemist. As we have learned, authors choose symbols to represent ideas and concepts.
 For your first blog entry, choose an abstract concept (freedom, jealousy, respect, education, etc.) then choose a symbol to represent that concept. In one paragraph, explain why you chose that symbol to represent the concept. In your entry, include an picture or photo of that symbol.

    The symbol i choose is America. The concept i choose is freedom becuase we allow you to belive in what you what unlike other countries.

    the symbol i am thinking of are the two stones. i believe that the abstract idea of this symbol is education to teach you right and wrong.
